Introduction:

The Springfield Babe Ruth League (SBRL) is offering the opportunity for advanced players to play on teams in the Northern Virginia Travel Baseball League (NVTBL). During the league season, the players will have a unique opportunity to play single NVTBL games on Sundays and league games during the week. After the Babe Ruth season, the travel teams will play additional games in NVTBL Travel players will also  have the opportunity to vie for positions on all-star teams that will compete in the BR all-star tournamnets. SBRL initiated this travel program in 2016 with the Springfield Sharks 18U  team competing in the Varsity Division. In the fall of 2017 a 14U team was added. To these teams we are planning on adding a 13U and a Junior Varsity team in the spring of 2018.
